Amish Mud Sale

 

Mud sales have become popular ways in our area to raise funds for Amish schools and fire companies.  Usually a fire company and the Amish community work together to make the event happen. 

The sales are held in late winter or early spring – when the ground is thawing – the reason they are called mud sales.
