I Am So Ready for Spring

Maybe it’s because I know it is just around the corner.

Maybe it is from seeing signs of spring on sites of my blog friends from the south.

Maybe it is because it has been a gray, snowy, icy, cold week.

This morning I decided to take a walk around our yard and look for signs of spring.

This did not look very hopeful.

Icicles certainly are not a promising sign.

The ivy is still dormant.

This snow-covered robin’s nest certainly needs warmer weather before it’s ready for eggs.

Maybe, just maybe these ice-covered Dogwood buds are swelling a bit.
