A Slow News Day
I took time to watch a few birds before going downstairs to the office, but the feeder wasn’t very busy.
My goal today was to get a few thank you letters and prayer breakfast post cards in the mail, then add 200 names to my database (the mailing list for a new staff chaplain). I have a few more addresses to add tomorrow, before I can mail the newsletter.
Before long I heard some unusual sounds outside, and came upstairs to see what was happening.
It appears that my brothers had topsoil delivered to fill in a low area of the field below us. After the dump truck unloaded several loads, the track hoe leveled it.
When I left for the post office, it looked like this.
The little boys are here tonight while their mom works at the doctor’s office, and their dad and older brother and sister go caroling with a Sunday school class.
Ian (center) is showing Jesse and Jared how to do computer cooking.
They love to play Disney Kitchen.
That was my day.
There will be a lot more activity tomorrow – but you will have to wait and see what it is.
