The Day After Christmas
The sunrise created a beautiful sky.
A few minutes later, while working in the kitchen, I saw my brother’s mailbox looking like this, so went outside to take a second look at the sunrise. (Our house faces northwest, so it is easy to miss a pretty sunrise.)
It looked like the sky was on fire!
This is Jordan, trying to hide from my camera. ![]()
Jordan, Nathan, and Josh were at our place over night – to celebrate Nathan’s half birthday. After a relaxing morning, we went to Two Cousins for lunch – which is where we were when I took this picture.
While waiting for lunch, they decided that I could only take a picture of one eye.
They were delighted when Nathan’s wings came – so I could aim my camera on something else. Everyone but Cerwin had a sample of this dish. Cerwin doesn’t like wings – says they’re too messy – and he doesn’t like cleaning off bones.
All three ordered chicken stromboli – but made a bit differently. Nathan’s was barbecued , Josh’s was with cheese and onions, and Jordans had cheese, onions, and bluecheese.
Cerwin and I only ordered something to drink. The guys had agreed to each give us a sample. We ate too much yesterday.
Our next stop was a local bowling alley.
I think it was Josh who took this picture, and thought it was neat since he captured the ball leaving my hand.
Jordan was the winner of the first game – and my score was second highest. I remember when I could beat him, but he has gotten quite good.
So we all tried to beat him during a second game.
He continued his winning streak.
I think the order of the scores in the second game had something to do with the order of the listing. ![]()
Jordan was pleased with the results.
Cerwin and I may not have won any games – but there’s something quite fun about bowling with teenage grandsons and having them beat us. Photo by Nathan.
