Sparrow
One of the most common birds in the world, yet God says He knows when a sparrow dies. Knowing that He cares about sparrows, helps me know that He cares about me, that He knows my location and my needs.
Rest in the Lord and be willing to wait for Him. Psalm 37:7 (NLV)
One of the most common birds in the world, yet God says He knows when a sparrow dies. Knowing that He cares about sparrows, helps me know that He cares about me, that He knows my location and my needs.

We love you! Daddy and Mother High
~~~ Thursday, September 28 ~~~ I never tire of watching harvest of any kind, because it is a sign of the end of a season. On this day the standing corn was chopped and turned into silage which will feed the cattle for the next year. Then, just like that they were finished with the […]
~~~ Friday, September 22 ~~~ Coming upon an Amish carriage on solid, double yellow lines is a good reminder to slow down a bit. On the way home, we stopped at a self-serve Amish roadside stand to buy an apple pie. They count on our honesty to pay for it before we leave, but it […]

~~~ Monday, September 18 ~~~ This western sky captured my attention. I walked to the end of our driveway to get away from electric wires. I was surprised to see a rainbow when I turned around to walk toward the house. I am always amazed that the sky under a rainbow is lighter than the […]
~~~ Sunday, September 17 ~~~ Cerwin and I chose this location for our celebration, because this is where we had our wedding reception 60 years earlier. In 1963 this was called Hostetter’s Banquet Hall. Hostetter’s had been the place to have church functions, weddings, sports banquets, club meetings or anniversary dinners from the 1950’s through […]
