Sunday, August 23
This lunchtime party was for our great nieces, Peyton and Bailey – grandchildren of Cerwin’s brother, Elvin, and wife, Pat.
It was held outside at their beautiful new pool – where the children spent most of the afternoon.
They have a beautiful setting for a pool. We saw it last fall before it was finished. This was our first time seeing it finished.
The girls cousin, Caleb (CJ) and our great grand nephew loves the water.
Cerwin and his brother Elvin
I like this one better than the posed one.
Lunch is ready.
My choices
Our nephews Ted and Jakey (whose house we were at) and Denise (Ted’s wife).
This dad got a workout from his daughters who loved jumping from his arms.
Time for the birthday party – gifts and cupcakes
Smores cupcake
Red Velvet
Bailey and Peyton waiting while their mom lit the candles.
Our cupcakes and chocolate chip cookies.
Opening presents.
Then it was back to the pool where Bailey and Peyton wanted their dad (Jakey) to throw them up in the air.
The waterfall was a fun place to relax.
If this ball was near the falls, it sucked it to the wall and kept it spinning.
There was something like feathers inside.
Caleb wanted the girls to throw him up in the air.
The adults visited while the children played in the pool.
Before going home, I took a few pictures of some of their beautiful flowers.
Thanks Jakey and Crystal for inviting us. It was a fun, relaxing afternoon.
Looks like a lovely summer pool party in a beautiful setting. The flower shots are gorgeous, too!
It was a beautiful day for a pool party.
