Sunday, March 22
This was the first Sunday that we did not have worship in our church building, but enjoyed it by sound only – computer or phone due to the virus.
Following lunch, Cerwin planned to take a large box of TFC Global’s Highway News to a friend who has access to businesses where he can place them. We had 400 extra because of cancelling the Lancaster Chapter Dinner concert. We were expecting 700 people and planned to give a copy to every household.
I had not been out of the house for a week, so decided to go along for the drive and enjoy the pretty spring afternoon.
We drove into Amish and Mennonite territory so we saw a variety of horse and carriages.
Enjoy our drive
I was glad I went along to see the countryside beauty – even though I did not get out of our car.
There’s something about getting out of the house, even in the car, that helps keep up the spirits! This was a beautiful ride, in what looks like nice spring weather — it’s always good to see the Amish carriages, and the flowers are gorgeous!
I missed the mailman yesterday – at our mailbox – and drove my letter to our local village, about a mile and a half away. It was the first time I drove a car for three weeks – or more. It felt good to drive again. 🙂
