Monday Evening, December 23

We arrived a bit early – due to leaving in plenty of time to get Cerwin’s eye glasses and our groceries – see “Our Day – Between Sunrise and Sunset” post – so enjoyed coffee (me) and Coke (Cerwin) until they arrived.

I took these two photos right after our meal – as I forgot to take pictures before that. Mostly because we had a great conversation in catching up on their lives – his job as a truck driver and hers as a CNA nurse.

We enjoyed hearing their excitement and experiences of waiting for their first child – April 2020. We speculated about the color of the baby’s hair. Will it have dark hair like Donovan or be blond like Diana – and joked that if it is a boy, we hope he isn’t born with a beard. 🙂 They are not going to find out if their little one is a boy or a girl until the birth.

I took a few more pictures outside the restaurant. Hoss’s is a great place for a relaxing meal.

This meal was for Diana’s 2019 birthday. This is our last 2019 birthday celebration.

Thanks, Diana and Donovan, for having supper with us. That was fun – and delicious.
