Saturday Evening, September 28
The Sauder family enjoys the privilege of using a recreation room at Landis Homes (Lititz, PA) – at no cost – because several Sauder family members live on campus. This is the beautiful entrance area to the room.
One of these years I am going to buy a popcorn plant (Popcorn Cassia) for one of our flower beds.
Some people think the flowers smell like popcorn, but I also like that they are late summer bloomers.
This was our view when we entered the room as many cousins had already arrived and were visiting.
Preparing for singing a hymn and prayer before the meal.

There is always lots of delicious food at this reunion.
This gathering is made up mostly of Cerwin’s cousins on his mother’s side of the family, but we love when some from the next generation attend and bring their family. I took advantage of getting a four-generation photo of our cousin Velma Weaver with their son Curvin, his daughter and her daughter. (Sorry, I don’t know their names..)

That was indeed a really good evening. I love staying in touch with Cerwin’s cousins and other family members.
Thanks for the post. I soooo enjoy staying in touch too. The older I get it seems to mean more to me.
You are welcome – and I agree that reunions more as we get older.
