Clue #2 for our trip of a lifetime.

If you know what we are doing, don’t give it away to those who are guessing.

You’re blessed when you’re content with just who you are—no more, no less.
That’s the moment you find yourselves proud owners of everything that can’t be bought.
Matthew 5:5 (The Message)
God’s power is very great for us who believe. It is the same as the mighty power he used to raise Christ from death and put him at his right side in the heavenly places.
Ephesians 1:19-20 (Easy-to-Read Version)
So Excited
Tomorrow morning Cerwin and I are beginning an adventure that we have been dreaming about for a long time.
~~~
I am going to leave a photo hint each day – at least if I have internet access.
I’ll tell you all about it when we get home.
~~~
Some of you know what we are doing, so PLEASE don’t give it away. ![]()

Two Highlights From Our Day
Thursday, January 26
The trailer that was donated to TFC for the next chapel construction arrived at the International Office this morning.
Cerwin is anxious to begin construction and has been busy ordering supplies. This chapel will replace one of TFC’s oldest chapels which is located at Pilot Travel Center, I-78, Exit 10, Frystown, PA.
Tonight we went to Harrisburg Airport to get our granddaughter Elizabeth who flew in from Jacksonville, Florida.
What fun to see her again.
May Jesus himself and God our Father, who reached out in love and surprised you with gifts of unending help and confidence, put a fresh heart in you, invigorate your work, enliven your speech.

Lunch With Jesse
Today, January 25
Our lunch was in The Meadows room at Oregon Dairy.
It was the quarterly Sauder Family lunch. The January lunch is usually the smallest, and today was no different, but that didn’t diminish the good fellowship. There were five people in our car, and Cerwin was the only one who could drive: Cerwin reaching for a menu, his mother (next to him) is 94 and no longer drives, next to him is Jesse who is four, you can see my red coat (I am not permitted to drive until all my tests are back), and across the table from me is our brother-in-law Mel, who had a serious fall several weeks ago and has to wear a neck brace.
Mel’s wife, Velda, had a slight heart attack last week and had a stent placed in a blocked blood vessel. She wasn’t feeling quite strong enough to come along.
It was good Jesse’s milk came early, because he thought it took long for his pancake to arrive.
We gave him a pen and turned his placemat upside down so he could use his drawing skills.
He wanted me to take a closeup of it.
Next he asked me to take pictures of him.
Oh, those beautiful eyes.
Then we went out to the buffet area to watch the overhead train.
Yes, my pancake arrived!
He ate the whole thing.
It is only fitting that a restaurant called Oregon Dairy has dairy decorations.
Holstein light cover
He belly is full of pancake, so he spent some time checking on what was happening outside the window.
He was the official cart pusher when we got groceries, so it was also his job to put the cart away.
He reminded us several times today that he is four-and-a-half years old (officially he still has two months until he reaches that milestone.)
We told him that he is ninety years younger that his great-grandma who was with us at lunch today as she is ninety-four-and-a-half.
Strength! Courage! Don’t be timid; don’t get discouraged. God, your God, is with you every step you take.
