Seek the Kingdom of God above all else
and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. Matthew 6:33 (New Living Translation)
Rest in the Lord and be willing to wait for Him. Psalm 37:7 (NLV)
and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. Matthew 6:33 (New Living Translation)
I won’t need many words to show that these animals are loved and well cared for once they get to Roy and Deb’s house. When the trucker heard that he lost two baby ducks, he was surprised that they were alive. They must have fallen off the truck at the same time to be discovered together. […]
as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Colossians 3:23 (New Living Translation)
There were multiple reasons why we and Jere and Kristen’s family met Roy and Deb at RD’s for lunch after church on Sunday. 1. It is a new restaurant in Roy and Deb’s area. 2. I had some things that needed to be returned to Deb (they live about an hour away from us). 3. Deb twisted her knee […]
I have appeared to you for a reason. I am appointing you to serve Me. You are to tell My story and how you have now seen Me, and you are to continue to tell the story in the future. Acts 26:16 (The Voice)
We love you! Daddy & Mother
Jason and Renita and their family graciously host this show of trucks and cars. They do a great job of making a truck shop look attractive for the day visitors. Jason’s truck was looking good – as usual. Their family is also involved in Ride Free Ministries and enjoy watching their boys ride motocross bikes. The […]
slow to speak and slow to become angry. James 1:19 (New International Version)
Our ministry display board. Opening songs by the Fehr Family, Master of Ceremonies – Jason Shelly. We enjoyed a delicious meal. A great gospel concert by The Brunner Family. Will and Sherry Stoner shared a bit of their spiritual journey – especially how Will came to understand God’s plan of salvation through an issue of TFC’s […]
that’s how freedom grows. Galatians 5:13 (The Message)
The other day when Tiffani came to my office to work on a project for youth retreat, she brought a beautiful flower arrangement. She said that her mother was looking for someone to bless because they had so many pretty flowers. I do love being blessed! Thanks Dorinda and Tiffani!
O Lord my God, You are very great. You are dressed with great honor and wonderful power. Psalm 104:1 (New Life Version)
The other evening when I was in the kitchen, cleaning up after supper, I noticed a yellow glow and went to investigate. I had fun experimenting with camera settings. It was certainly a beautiful close to the day.
Ephesians 6:10 (New Life Version)
We were honored to be invited to the TFC Office for an anniversary lunch. Monday, September 16 Before going to the office, I stopped at the shop to see what Cerwin was doing. He was working outside the chapel they are building for Hudson, Wisconsin, so I asked him to go inside and “pretend” that he […]
1 Peter 3:10 (The Voice)
We have been looking at tall, beautiful corn all summer. This year we were surrounded by corn fields. It is kind of nice, because it gives us a feeling of isolation. That began to change on Monday morning. We again have a window with a view – if we look to the south. At this point nothing […]
and let his words enrich your lives and make you wise. Colossians 3:16 (Living Bible)
Five Generations Back: Dorretta (Grandma), Justin (Father). Front: Velda (Great-grandma), Owen (baby), and Ella (Great-great-grandma) The parents: Haley and Justin with Mother and Owen. We added Owen’s great-grandparents Mel and Velda. He was not particularly impressed with all the photographers. Owen’s grandparents, Dorretta and Rod in the back. Then we changed our attention to baby Bryson. […]
those who journey through life by the light of Your face. Psalm 89:15 (The Voice)
Last night we had a covered dish supper to celebrate her birthday. Justin, Josh, Jordan, and Cerwin. After lunch we asked the young guys in our man cave to help get the table board and saw horses from the pavilion to use for the serving table. We timed their help perfectly – just before the Eagles game […]
Christ sacrificed his life for us. This is why we ought to live sacrificially for our fellow believers, and not just be out for ourselves. 1 John 3:16 (The Message)
Roy and Deb were our chauffeurs to The Loft in downtown Lancaster. (Jere and Kristen took us home.) After finding a parking spot, we walked toward the restaurant and were surprised by the clip clop of horses behind us and turned around to see two city policemen. Waiting to go upstairs to the second floor dining area. […]
I will praise You. I will give thanks to Your name. For You have been faithful to do great things, plans that You made long ago. Isaiah 25:1 (New Life Version)
Our Pennsylvania children took us out for supper tonight. Cerwin, Chris, Jeff, Roy, Deb, Kristen, and Jere. We had a wonderful time talking, laughing, and eating delicious food. I was wearing the beautiful corsage that Cerwin had delivered earlier today. I’ll tell you more about our evening in my next post.
That I married my best friend!
I mean, revel in him! Make it as clear as you can to all you meet that you’re on their side, working with them and not against them. Philippians 4:4-5 (The Message)
Recent pictures of TFC’s chapel construction. Ceiling paneling There was a major work day on Thursday to install wall paneling. Painting more ceiling paneling. Another few weeks and the chapel should be ready for exterior painting and lettering.
and our bodies have been washed with pure water. So come near to God with a sincere heart, full of confidence because of our faith in Christ. Hebrews 10:22 (Easy-to-Read Version)
When I walked outside this morning, this scene took me back to my early teen years when I enjoyed reading Harold Bell Wright books. I loved how he described the light coming through the trees in the Ozarks. He described it so well that I could almost see it and feel it. After school […]
