I think this is the first time a wren raised babies in the bird house on our patio. I think this Common Grackle got in someone’s bleach. 🙂 I never tire of seeing unusual or common birds at our feeders, on the ground, or in their nests.

I may have mentioned it before, but I am enjoying the hummingbirds this summer. Since I put out three feeders, I see them every day – many times a day. In previous years – when I had only one feeder – I rarely saw hummingbirds. They make me smile.
