We are especially pleased to see plump silky catkins on our weeping pussy willow tree this year because it was a very cold winter and it is located on the north side of our house.

We planted this tree two years ago in memory of our granddaughter Hannah who died suddenly on July 4, 2023.

Crocus are coming up again as they have been for the past 52 years. The bulbs (10 of them) were given to us for our 10th Wedding Anniversary (September 14, 1973) by my mother. At the time she said, “This is not a pretty gift, but it will be pretty next spring.” She died fairly suddenly the following spring when they were blooming for the first time.

Tulips of varying colors will soon be blooming.

My dad loved daffodils, so these always remind me of him.
Ah, yes. I love breathing in springtime.
Your yard will soon be very colorful!
