Thursday, February 12th was a cold day when snow still covered the ground.
It is gradually getting warmer, so this scene will slowly melt away from us.
It won’t be too many more weeks before we can sit here and enjoy a greener view. This scene has lingered much longer than many of the past winters.
We are currently in the middle of a series of late winter storms — chilly, and lots of rain on alternating days! I’m ready for spring to come and stay!
Oh, that does make one ready for spring. With the snow slowly thawing, I noticed crocus are coming up. So spring is coming. 🙂
