January 25

We woke up to several inches of snow. After daylight I took a few photos of our view of the scenery in front of us.

A snowplow went by shortly after 9 am.

By 9:30 we had 5-6 inches of snow.

Male cardinals always look pretty in the snow.

By the time we had about 10 inches of snow (shortly after 2 pm) and it had begun to sleet, we were glad to see Travis (from our nearby homestead) and his nice skid loader opening our driveway. Travis is our great-nephew – a grandson of my sister.

Those with snow mobiles finally had enough snow to travel over the neighborhood fields.
Happy to see all is well. I had a feeling you all would be well prepared
It is nice to be able to stay home when there is a big snowstorm.
