Several weeks ago, our friend Inge asked us to choose a day that would suit us to go to her favorite Brazilian restaurant The Gaucho’s Way which is located in the Park City Mall (next to Boscov’s west entrance).
Inge was born in Brazil and wanted to treat us to a meal here because of something we had done for her.

I love food experiences and was looking forward to this day.
Inge told us about the gauchos in Brazil, but so I got it correct, I googled gaucho and this is what I learned:
In Brazil, a gaucho refers to a traditional cowboy or horseman. Gauchos are known for their skills in cattle herding, horseback riding, and cultural practices, including the art of churrasco, a style of barbecue that is integral to their culinary heritage. They symbolize resilience, independence, and traditions, and have become folk hero’s similar to cowboys in North America.

These cheese rolls are delicious and a favorite of Inge’s. You may notice the “No, Thanks” coaster. We turned that to red when we did not need a waiter, then green if we were ready for food or had a question.

It is impossible to miss the large salad bar. There are a large variety of items, some that I never heard of. I particularly liked the pickled palm tree shoots. (on the right front – standing on end).

There was delicious clam chowder to the right of the bread. I took just a sampling. It was the best I ever tasted.

My plate. There were so many delightful tastes.

We loved our waiters. They were dressed in black with red scarfs, large belts, and gaucho boots.

Cerwin getting a bacon wrapped filet mignon from a large skewer.

I had bacon-wrapped filet mignon as well as bacon-wrapped chicken. Oh, yum!

We each took a slice of Picanha, which the restaurant describes as top sirloin with a fat cap. This just might have been the tastiest piece of meat we had. There was also sausage, pork, lamb, salmon, and a few other varieties of meat. Two pieces were enough for me. Cerwin also had sausage.

Our sides were fried potatoes and bananas. There was also mashed potatoes.

One of our waiters kindly took a photo of us with my cell phone. I did not have my camera along. We enjoyed watching Park City customers arriving and leaving in the hallway beside us. The menus were our dessert choices.

He decided to take a picture from the other side of the table for better lighting. As you can see, or meal was finished and we were enjoying coffee.

Cerwin and I shared an order of flan, which was a perfect and delicious end to this delightful culinary experience. I now dream of going back. š
Thank you, Inge.
