Yesterday my sister messaged me with this note, “Are you home if I stop in this afternoon with cookies.”
I replied, “YES!!”
I knew what we were getting because she, her daughters, and granddaughters make lots of delicious cookies every December.
Cookies don’t get any better than this.
My first choice is always one of their iced soft sugar cookies (center right). The second choice is the raisin filled stars (bottom right). Then I put them in the freezer (so we don’t eat them all at once) and get them out as needed and either let them thaw our heat them in the microwave.
They look delicious! I like the idea of keeping them in the freezer — I’d want to eat them all right away!
Yes. They are too tempting when they are readily available. When they are in the freezer, I don’t see them every time I am in the kitchen.
