Visitors for Supper

Tuesday, November 18

The other day our granddaughter Diana messaged me about bringing their children for a play date. We eventually settled on suppertime. Her husband, Donovan, his dad, and some of his brothers are on a white tail hunting trip in the Midwest, so it was a good way for these four to spend an evening. Supper was pizza, chicken nuggets, grapes, and a few snack things for dessert.

I love watching our great grandchildren grow up. Waylon (left) is talking so much and loved telling us about his life. Bennett is in kindergarten (home school) and is learning about the letter G. He was easily able to find the G item on the table. Grapes. Sierra is usually in motion – often running.

I especially enjoyed listening to the boys tell us about some of their recent dreams – usually about characters from books or videos. I especially loved when Bennett prefixed his dream by saying, “Grandma, you might find this a bit scary, but in my dream a lion ate Curious George.” 🙂

We treasure the times when our granddaughters bring their children for a play and snack time.
