When I talked to our youngest daughter Deb in the morning, we decided on this restaurant in Maryland, about twenty minutes from their house.

We had fun talking to Roy about some of his experiences in the Navy. I was surprised at how many countries he visited during that time.

Eating at a smokehouse restaurant offers so many delicious choices.

Roy has been retired from the Navy also from R.H. Sheppard Co. and is now doing a variety of things he enjoys. One of these days we are going to get a tour of the ship USS New Jersey with Roy as our guide.

Dessert was beyond delicious. We each got something different so we could taste all three. Cerwin and I shared the pumpkin cheesecake (left).
