I retrieved this picture from the photos that were on my old computer when the motherboard died a few weeks ago.

The meal happened in early October in Whitehall, PA.

Sam Rittenhouse (right) took Cerwin and me along on this one-hour-plus drive to meet Barb Bredbenner who has been a friend for many years.

Barb and her husband Oliver served with us in Transport for Christ in many ways. It began in the 1970’s when they served in the Lehigh Valley Chapter.

When Oliver died earlier this year and neither of us were able to attend his memorial service, we told her that we would meet her for a meal sometime in the near future. The meal was delayed because she became very ill shortly after his death (Covid, pneumonia and shingles).

By the time she was well again it took us a few months to get together on a date.

We had a great time reminiscing over many past memories.
