Traveling from Sanford, ME to Lisbon Falls, ME

We had another beautiful drive to where Mark and Diane (our daughter) live.

There was an accident on the interstate as we approached South Portland, so we decided to exit and look for a place for an early lunch. The accident was still being cleaned up when we were ready to travel again, and our cell phone GPS made it look like we would be okay if we traveled north a bit through Portland to the next exit. That worked!

But first, we had to wait as a few Canada Geese crossed the road in an area where people were feeding them.

I took this photo as we were approaching the quilt and craft store where Diane works when the owners need extra help.

Diane introduced us to the owners before we took time to look around their delightful shop.

We knew Diane was working – the reason we stopped here first. This is only about a mile from their house.

I am not a seamstress, so it was fun to see all the things that are available to quilters and crafters of anything that involves material.

If you live in the Lisbon Falls area of Maine, or are traveling through, stop in and see all the things they have in stock.
From here we went to Mark and Diane’s place where we stayed for a few days.
