Saturday, October 25

It was a beautiful morning as we drove from Vernon, Connecticut, to Sanford, Maine.

I especially liked these two shots of the sun coming up between the trees with a bit of fog added.

More pretty fall scenery

Our goal for the morning was to stop at His, Yours and Mine shortly after 10 am when the shop opened. It is a Thrift and Gift Shop which is owned by Marcy and her husband. She was outside (pink sweater) putting items on the sidewalk for display.

We had 9 knotted comforters along from our church’s sewing circle. Cerwin is unloading one bag that held 3 comforters.

Marcy has another bag of three. These are quite popular in her shop.

Inside the shop looking out as Marcy talks to a customer.

She has beautiful displays of all the things that are donated to her shop.

Cerwin checking out an item (vest) that he bought and a pack of peanut butter rice krispy candy from the stash of baked items you see. Several in her family have a bake shop and some items are sold in her shop.
After enjoying the shop and visiting her, we headed north toward Mark and Diane’s place.
