Our woodlot has been the designated burial spot for our friend Inge’s cats when it comes their time to be at rest.

The latest one was Sir Greystone. This is one of the last pictures Inge has of him.

Yesterday, after having Sir Greystone put to sleep, she brought his container to where Cerwin had dug his grave.

While Cerwin covered his “casket” Inge and I walked to another area of the yard where Timothy and Barnabas are buried.
Sir Greystone is buried next to Aimie, another one of her cats.
Sir Greystone was a stray who showed up at her doorstep. He looked hungry so she fed him and before long, she realized that he had probably been dropped off by someone who could no longer care for him.
If you want to read the details on how she obtained him, go to her blog. Just Another Blog…: Saying goodbye to a sweet boy
