We had never been to this concert, but it seems to have been going on for several years – not always at the same location.

This time we were in the backyard of the John Fox family near Denver, PA. Many people arrived early and enjoyed pulled pork sandwiches, sodas, coffee, and soft ice cream which were for purchase. There were also free items that people donated like: cheese, bologna, and whoopie pies.

Gracie Martin (middle) and band were the opening group. Gracie is a fabulous young singer and yodeler.

J-Tyme is an incredibly talented family from our area. The name J is part of their name, because each family name begins with a J.
By the time they were finished, Cerwin and I were incredibly cold and thought it best for our health that we go home. We brought light jackets but should have had winter coats.

Because we left early, we were sorry to miss Tru Vintage (one of our favorite local bluegrass groups). I took this photo from their website.
We enjoyed the first two groups and especially enjoyed meeting people we hadn’t seen for a long time, plus a Facebook friend (Thelma) who I don’t think I met before.
