This time we went with Abby and their five children because they missed the swim date for great grandchildren the other week due to sickness in their house.

This time we went to the playground first (noon) so lunch would not be so late. Refreshing Mountain changed to their “fall” schedule this week and only opens the pool at 1 pm.

Natalie on the rope bridge

Renee going down the slide.

We walked to the pool by 1 pm and as Abby put floaters on the girls, I held Garth who was almost jumping out of my arms to get in the pool. He loved it and kept kicking his feet.

Before long Jazzy came for Garth and made him even happier by putting him in the pool.

Anthony diving into the deep end of the pool.

His next adventure was going down the tube slide.

Then he did it again – and again – several times.

Garth especially liked being in his tube.

Great Grandpa and Renee (who had gotten cold).

The rest of the pictures were taken by Anthony after we got out of the pool and prepared to go home.

I think we have another photographer in the family.

The store’s open sign lit up letter by letter. It looks like it hadn’t yet reached the last letter. Also, a map of the area and a chain saw bear.

A nice Elephant Ear plant near the store and a picnic table area.

Some beautiful plants.
It was a good day to be at the pool as school has started in our area. There were only a few people there – probably homeschool children like ours and adults who had the day off from work.
