This was the day we celebrated our local great grandchildren’s 2025 birthdays.
For those who live in Maine, Tennessee and California, we try to do something special when they visit us.

We were disappointed that Abby and their five children (Anthony, Jazzy, Natalie, Renee, and Garth) had to cancel because of illness in the house.
There are no refunds, so I asked our granddaughters if they could think of a friend who might like to come. Alexa and Ethan took care of one reservation. I didn’t have to register babies age 2 and under. (There were 7 of those, plus 17 age 3 and above.)

Cerwin and I packed a picnic lunch (sandwiches, drinks, grapes (sliced in half because of all the little ones), cheese, pretzels, chips, Nutter Butters, and strawberry fig newtons.
Abby (Left – Jenna’s sister-in-law), her boys (Beau and Wells), and their babysitter filled in the other empty spots for the cancellation.

Lainey (choosing a sandwich), Emmy and Aleah enjoying lunch. I had chicken and ham salad in bread and cut in quarters. The sliced ham and cheese and sliced turkey were in slider rolls and cut in half.

All food must be eaten in this picnic area – no food in the pool area.

Estella slept most of our time there. The morning reservations are from 11 am until 12:50 pm.

Diana and Gloria decided to go down the big slide. I think it took them back to the days when they were kids and we brought them here during Cousin’s week.

The old couple. Deb took this picture and a few others with her cell phone.

Bennett learned how to put water in the pool noodle and blow it out.

Of course, it was fun to spray mom.

Deb got this great picture after Diana gave up and allowed Bennett to spray her. Waylon got in on the fun as well and used a squeezy ball to put water on her head.
Before long the pool’s water fountain was turned off and it was time to pack up and go home.
My heart was smiling as I watched granddaughters, great grandchildren, and their friends having a good time.
