Our lunch began by singing Happy Birthday to Harper for her 2nd birthday – which was on the day of our picnic.

She did a great job of blowing out her two candles.

We also sang to Waylon for his 3rd birthday which was earlier in the week. There was a birthday party for him at that time.

Prayer for the food and for our family.

Everyone picked up their food in the garage and went outside in the shade to eat.

We provided pulled pork (Dutch Country Catering & BBQ) for sandwiches, place settings, and drinks. Each family brought food they chose from my online suggested menu.

This is usually the only time in the year that we use our “upper yard” to the north of our house because it has the most shade.

It was a warm day – and we knew it was going to be – so we asked our grandchildren to bring water toys for their children. We had a hose nearby and filled two large blue buckets and a small sprinkling water pool with water.

There were large and small water guns that were constantly being filled. I think most of us got sprayed with water a time or two even though they were supposed to only spray each other. đŸ™‚

Lainey wasn’t sure about the cold water.

Filling water balloons

Renee is soaking wet and looking for a place to throw her water balloon.

Seirra and her water balloon.

It looks like Jordan hit his target – Anthony.

Anthony loves when one of his mom’s cousins picks a “fight” with him.

I don’t think I heard the end report of this chase (in the background).

Little ones playing in the pool after the sprinkler was turned off.

Deb with a great niece (Seirra) and great nephew (Garth) on her lap. Garth slept like that for a very long time – maybe more than an hour.

Deb cuddling with Seirra after Garth was awake. I don’t think I took this picture. It was probably Seirra’s mom, Diana, who is known for “stealing” my camera – with my permission.

I learned that it was not Diana, but our granddaughter Lydia who took these pictures. đŸ™‚ I love to find pictures on my camera that I did not take.

The reason I think Diana had the camera is that the rest of the pictures are of her daughter. đŸ™‚

It was a good day. I love when I can be with many of our children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
