FRIDAY REHEARSAL AND DINNER

The weekend started with rehearsal and a rehearsal meal at Manheim Brethren in Christ Church. The meals (rehearsal and reception) were in the church’s Activity Center.

Following rehearsal, Ian’s parents, Jere and Kristen had the small room beautifully decorated with candles and peonies from their own property.

There were Chick-fil-A sandwiches and chicken nuggets, plus mac and cheese by Kristen.

Other delicious items included veggies, olives, pickles, fresh fruit and a nice variety of cake-like bars arranged and made by Jere and Kristen.

SATURDAY WEDDING AND RECEPTION

The card and gift table included the photo montage “H” that Kristen makes for every family member – using the first letter of their last name.

Immediate family seats

Ian’s brother Jared and his fiancé Yeira handed out programs. In one month it will be their wedding.

Siblings, Jesse and Jana. Jesse, Ian’s youngest brother and our youngest grandchild, gave out programs at the opposite side of the door. Jana (their only sister) was wedding coordinator and kept things running smoothly.

Kelli and Josh. Josh is the oldest of Jere and Kristen’s children.

Kristen and Jere (our youngest son) are Ian’s parents.

A photo with the grandparents after the ceremony. Dave and Carolyn Myer, Me, and Cerwin. We have known Dave and Carolyn for a long time and are pleased to share grandchildren.

Our children Roy, Deb, Jeff, Mark and Diane.

Each person had a seat ID card.

The delicious meal was catered by Mission BBQ.

They departed between lots of streamers being “shot” at them. Most of the streamers stayed attached to the little container that shot them out, meaning there was very little clean up.

Ian’s car was on the other side of all these streamers.

Just like that the day was over and their life together had begun.
