Our cousin Marian (right) was standing (talking to someone) when it was time for prayer, so she was appointed to be the one who prayed for us and our meals.

There were 35 people – the largest group ever for one of these lunches. Three were from the next generation: Our daughter Diane (3rd from left) was here from Maine; Blanche’s (left) son brought her (he is in the back left); and Leon and Velma’s daughter brought Edith. It was good to see Blanche doing well. She had her right leg removed earlier this year. She lives in a senior living facility. I think she said it is near Linglestown.

The Knight and Day staff did a fabulous job of taking orders and serving us. In this picture you can see Edith next to Leon and Velma’s daughter, who brought her (looking at the waitress). Edith is now living at United Zion Retirement Community.

I tried getting a variety of angles so the cousins who live at a distance or cannot come can see everyone.
We love seeing everyone at noon on the last Wednesday of January, April, July and October.
