We were set up by Saturday evening and ready for 12 guests, plus us.

I don’t usually take photos during these meals because some people don’t like their photo on social media.
This meal began when we wanted to invite someone who should not have salt, so I asked my sister Nancy for some ideas because her husband needs to have salt-free meals. As I was talking to her, I suggested that we do the meal together.
She liked the idea. She made boneless chicken thighs in a crockpot, coleslaw, and dinner rolls. I cooked potatoes and served them with butter and sour cream. We also had peas and a veggie tray. For dessert we had fresh fruit, cupcakes and ice cream.

Our dogwood trees were in full bloom, so I used a few branches for decoration.

Our guests: Marlin and Nancy Becker, Marlin and Jane Snavely, Anna Ebersol, our daughter Diane, Leroy and Shirley Oberholtzer, Galen and Sara Stauffer and Kurtis and LuAnn Brubaker.

We had great conversation as we learned to know each other better during the afternoon.
It sounds ike you navigated the salt-free meal pretty well — but how does one make dinner rolls without salt?
I did not ask her that. 🙂
