Schaefer’s Canal House

Easter Buffet

It was our first time to enjoy this large, amazing buffet at Schaefer’s. Roy planned this for us, him and Deb about a month ago.

Deb took some of these pictures. If I am on it, it is probably from her cell phone.

Key Lime Pie topped off the meal for me.

We saw this barge going by about the time we sat down from the buffet line. The restaurant was Full – even for our appointment at 2:00 pm – so we did not get to sit at a table along the front of the restaurant. Plus, the buffet was along much of the waterfront. We missed that view but still enjoyed the delicious food.

We had plenty of time, so went outside to get our fill of sunshine and water. The next few photos were taken on the deck outside the side of the restaurant not far from where we were sitting.

Then we went downstairs to be near the canal for a while.

After watching a few boats go by, Roy took us on a scenic route back to their house.

Thank you, Roy, that was a wonderful meal and afternoon.
