I had seen some wisteria trees from a distance and was glad when the bus slowed down real close to a beautiful one shortly after leaving The Billy Graham Library.

Because a few people asked her how she met her husband (she is the widow of Paul Heil of Gospel Greats), she told the story as we traveled. Then we listened to a CD of him announcing songs during one of his programs. It was good to hear his voice again.

We had never eaten at Wood Grill Buffet but would do it again if we were in the area. This is a very large buffet with many choices of food. We had reservations and consequently had a room of our own.

As the sun set and we drove toward Lancaster, PA, I wondered how I would stay awake until 11:00 pm – the time we were supposed to arrive at Calvary Church.

However, Angie, our tour director, played a movie from Samaritan’s Purse from the time two of their team members contracted Ebola in Liberia, Africa – an awful disease from which people rarely survive. I don’t think anyone fell asleep until it was over. It was incredibly interesting.

During the final miles, we had time to reminisce about our amazing five-day trip.

All good things must come to an end – and it is good to be home again – but we will always treasure the fabulous memories of this trip.
Like Cerwin said about two days into the tour, “It was like God put this group together.”
