Our second chalk art session began about 9:40 am when Elva introduced “The Story of the Cross”. She used music like, The Old Rugged Cross, and a recording of her voice, explaining the sacrifice Jesus made for us.

I will just show the picture as it developed under her incredible talent.

Notice the additions as the photo progressed.

After she was finished, she changed the photo with a variety of lightings, giving it a different look.

She used plastic gloves for some pictures, but not this time.

Steve closed with a devotional.

His wife, Kim, joined him as they finished this session.

When we first met Steve and Kim at a rest stop on the way to The Cove the day before, the four of us were surprised to discover that we live about two miles from each other. They were at the wedding of one of our granddaughters, but we had never formerly met.
