I have so many pictures from Tuesday and Wednesday that I put them in categories for easier posting.

Today I will introduce you to the four main buildings on these 1,600 acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains owned by the Billy Graham Association. This retreat center is about 15 miles from their home in Montreat, NC.

Our motel is The Shepherd’s Inn, just a short walk from The Training Center (the center of activity here).

The motel is top class with beautiful rooms.

It is easier to get a photo from the back of The Training Center than from the front because it is nestled so close to the mountain trees. It is a huge, fabulous building.

I noticed some construction going on not far from the building and near the dining room, so investigated.

They are building a shed for their smoker. According to NC laws, it will have to be standing on concrete.

During my walk on Tuesday afternoon, I came upon Pilgrims’ Inn – another building with motel rooms. It is about 1/4 mile from The Training Center. There are shuttles between buildings when needed.

Another impressive building is Chatlos Memorial Chapel which is 3/4 mile from The Training Center. You will learn more about this building later in my posts when our group enjoyed a hymn sing here.

We are enjoying our time immensely, which is filled with spiritual and physical refreshment.
