Because the garage was set up as a dining room for Guess Who’s Coming to Diner a few days earlier, we invited the Sensenig’s and Zuck’s to come for their 2025 birthday meal from Two Cousin’s Restaurant. Thursday was the evening that suited both families.

The meal was made up of what they requested from Two Cousins: Cheese Pizza, Cowboy Pizza, Cheese Steak, Ham Stromboli, and Buffalo Chicken Cheese Steak Sub. Cerwin picked up the meal at 5:45 so we were ready when they arrived at 6 pm.

We included Renee in this birthday party, because the party at her parent’s house got cancelled the week before because of illness. She was two this year and hasn’t quite gotten the idea of blowing out candles. In this photo her dad Nathaniel and sister Jasmine were trying to teach her how to blow.

After supper the children wanted a “tent”, so I built one in the back of the room by using two tables and a very large blanket – plus four flashlights. You would have thought I built them a mansion. Bennett asked if I could keep it up until they came for their next visit. I replied that I would rebuild it the next time they came.

What a fun evening.

The next day we put the tables and toys away. The room now looks like and is being used as a garage again.
