It was a beautiful late winter day for the Amish to have worship at the Amish neighbor’s place closest to our house and the only one with the same street address as us.

Their worship service was over by the time we went home from our Sunday worship, and many were preparing to go home.

Those who parked their carriages in a tight area or close to a driveway put the shafts/poles up in the air to give more space.

As we drove home, we followed one of our neighbors until they turned left unto South View Road.

It was probably 25 or 30 years ago when one Amish family moved into our valley. Now we are delighted to have enough families living here for the Amish to have a fairly large church assembly.
