Sam, Inge, Cerwin (photo) and I met our friends Gary and Pearl at Cracker Barrel, near Hamburg, PA.

Gary and Pearl (next to windows) live in Ohio, so we don’t see them very often. The windows caused an issue with the lighting as usual – as I knew it would. A kind waitress took the picture for me.

Every now and then, when Gary and Pearl are visiting their son, his wife and family in Pennsylvania, they call to see if we can get together for a meal. Cracker Barrel near Hamburg, PA is a great place for this as we each have 40-50 minutes’ drive to the restaurant.

We had a great visit. It was SO GOOD to see them. Gary and Cerwin were each regional directors for TFC back in the 90s and early 2000s, meaning we did a lot of coordinating and understood each other’s roll in ministry when serving with Transport For Christ.
