Working at Blessings of Hope

Photos taken, Wednesday, January 22

Anthony, Cerwin and I did a new job at Blessings (Leola) this time. Trimming Brussels sprouts was something we had never done before.

The white bucket is for the trimmings that we were throwing away. You can see a good bag of Brussels sprouts just beyond Cerwin. The filled bags were put in a banana box until it was full, then placed on the conveyor belt where it would eventually be shipped to one of their locations.

We enjoyed it and the Brussels sprouts were very nice. We probably found only 5 or 6 bad ones. It is what we did the entire time – 8:30 to 11:00 am.

We pleased Anthony by stopping at Zig’s for lunch. He loves their turkey bacon sandwich.
