We always enjoy the concerts that are held at New Covent Church, and this night was no different. They are scheduled several times a year. A bonus is the delicious food that is served. This time it was sausage sandwiches and chicken corn soup, plus coffee, donuts, sodas, water, and ice cream
Tru Vintage, from Ephrata, PA, was first on stage. They are always there, so we expect they are involved in planning these delightful events.
We never tire of their bluegrass-style music.
Paradise Road was the second group. We never heard them but thoroughly enjoyed their style of gospel music.
If I understood correctly, the three young women are sisters.
The final part of the program was our favorite yodeler – 8-year-old Gracie.
She sings a mix of gospel and yodeling songs, also some favorites like Coat of Many Colors.
It is beautiful to travel home through Ephrata on dark winter nights because of their pretty lights.
It was truly an encouraging evening. Several acquaintances came to talk to us during the break, some to tell me they enjoy this blog.
What a wonderful event! Is that open to anyone?
