It was beautiful to wake up to a pretty dusting of snow a few days ago.
Following daylight, we could see the snow that lightly covered the countryside around us.
I am still waiting for a “real” snow – one that is a few inches deep and creates the need for a snowplow. 🙂
However, I will take any kind of snow where I can see the tiny footprints of our birds.
I love that 3rd shot — the one of the field — and the 4th and 5th would make nice Christas cards! I’m sure the birds are happy that you are there for them, too!
It is fun to watch birds when it snow.

PS – But I would be glad with just an inch or so – since shoveling the driveway is the only “outdoor” responsibility in my rental contract!
Then, a lot of snow would make a difference to you. 🙂
