Our oldest daughter, Diane, arrived from Maine on Friday evening, November 15 to be in the area when their daughter Abby and husband Nathaniel have their fifth child. Nate and Abby live about two miles from our house.

It didn’t take long for Nate and Abby’s children (Anthony, Jasmine, Natalie, and Renee) to ask for a sleepover with Grammy, and that happened yesterday. In this photo they are watching a movie that Diane downloaded on her computer. This morning, they said they all slept well in our basement bedroom.

Today we had lunch at our place, along with their mom, Abby. Following lunch we went shopping at Blessings of Hope in Lancaster and met Abby’s sister Lydia there. My heart was smiling when we were finished with that excursion.

Tonight the house is quiet again as we await the birth of the baby – which should happen any day. Then the children will be back at our house for a few days and nights. We are all anxious to see the baby who God has designed for our family.
