One of the benefits of getting sick is getting calls, messages and visitors.

Jared and Yeira called earlier in the week, asking if they could visit and bring ice cream from Fox Meadows. Of course I said, yes. Then I said, “Why don’t we make it for your 2024 birthday supper – a meal from Two Cousins.” They liked that idea. I ordered the food that we and they wanted. They picked it up. Cerwin had a cheesesteak, I had a turkey sub, Jared had a stromboli and Yeira had a personal pizza. Then we enjoyed the ice cream. By the way, Jared and Yeira are newly engaged. There will be a 2025 wedding.

My hospital visitors were, Jeff, Jere, Kristen, Jesse, Ian, Nicole, Deb and her friends Bernae and Leslie. The receptionist thought I was getting lots of visitors. 🙂 That was okay with me.

My extra effort for regaining my strength on Wednesday was feeding the birds. 🙂
