They are so pretty and such fun to watch. I had two feeders out (again) this year and changed them regularly. Not until this last time did I find both of them empty, but I saw only one hummer all summer. John and I were sitting on the porch when she showed up – she took one look at us and away she flew. I sit on the porch a lot, but she’s the only one I saw. Others around said they’ve seen one or two occasionally, but not as plentiful as other years.
