The Cove at Dove Westgate Church, Ephrata

Friends visited as they arrived in the room called The Cove.

These are friends who spent a lot of time together when we were in our teens and early twenties. Now most of us are in our ’80s.

We enjoyed a delicious meal that was catered by Peter’s Barbecue. There were grilled chicken thighs, pulled pork sliders, gourmet potatoes, green beans in bacon, macaroni salad, coleslaw, drinks, whoopie pies, ice cream, plus a delicious carrot cake which was used as Sally Martin’s birthday cake. Sally is on the right.

There was plenty of time to enjoy the meal and rotate between tables to visit friends. There was a good representation of The Old Gang. I understand there were 37 with maybe 6 people missing.
