Someone in the neighborhood is harvesting corn silage.
I happened to be sitting on the patio when this tractor and wagon went by our house.
Before long there was another wagon. Our road was busy with these pieces of equipment throughout the afternoon. This will help feed their cattle through the winter.
I enjoy this time of year. It feels like fall is coming.
I love these updates – you have such a beautiful view from your patio – what a blessing!

Thank you. It is what I see from the patio. 🙂
That corn still seems pretty tall — is it the first crop of the year?
The corn silage came from another farm, not the one in front of us. They only raise one corn crop, per field, each summer. There was probably another crop in the field before the corn. Like wheat or winter rye.
Thank you for that good explanation! They are busy farmers in your area!
