Northern Flicker – Male

It was good to see a pretty flicker at our feeders after our yard (and house) were ravished, soaked, and thrashed by the rain and wind – mostly from Hurricane Debby.

Some of our shepherd hooks and birdfeeders are lying in the yard waiting for the spouting to be completed.

We ended up removing several trees, plus the one that landed on the edge of our house.

The repair work is almost complete. I will show those pictures early next week after the spouting is installed.

Cerwin has been picking up branches, sticks, and removing leaves. Jeff was here today with his chainsaw, to remove a few more branches that we found hanging from a tree or bush.

Cerwin repaired the area of our brick patio that was damaged when the tree was removed from the house. He is currently mowing the lawn. After that, our place should again look like someone lives here. 🙂
