This time Amish church was at a home on our road. As far as I know they are the only Amish family who lives on our one-and-a-half-mile road.
I took these pictures very quickly as we were driving to a family picnic. The house is on the corner of two roads and very close to both.
If you remember my Amish church post from two weeks earlier, this home belongs to the young family who walked by our house on the way to another home where church was being held.
By the time I took these pictures their church was over and many were preparing to go home.
The horses are beautiful — they look well fed and well groomed! There must have been quite a parade as the families all went home!
They usually have beautiful horses. I wish I could have gotten a photo of all the men visiting in the yard. There must have been 15-20 sitting in a circle enjoying the shade of one of their trees when we went home from our picnic. The Amish church was about halfway between our house and our niece’s house where the picnic was held.
