We had been hearing about Hudson Botanical Cafe in Smoketown and thought it would be a fun thing to do with Diane while she was visiting. When Deb heard about it, she said, “Don’t go without me!” 🙂
Before we knew it, Roy and Deb decided to make it their gift to Cerwin (and us) for Father’s Day.
It suited them at noon – a busy, noisy time to eat at this cute cafe.

Truffle Fries.
The food was delicious with a bit of Australian flair.

My Vermicelli Salad was amazing with its sweet and spicy dressing.

We all smiled when Diane’s Saint Petersburger arrived. It was so large.

We challenged her to see if she could open her mouth wide enough to take a bite.

The girls wanted a picture with their dad since we were celebrating Father’s Day. It was a hot, sunny, eye-squinting kind of day.
A huge sandwich in a small cafe! What a nice gift — and that’s a great shot of Cerwin and his girls!
It was definitely huge. 🙂 Cerwin likes to have pictures of his girls.
