I love seeing the young brownish-red baby bison each spring. We drive by this farm many times a month.
As I got out of the car and moved closer to the fence to try to get a photo without fence wires, the adults became a bit alarmed and the male on the left make some huffing and snorting sounds. As you can see, the three on the right were also in a protect-the-baby mood. I was glad for the fence.
I was able to get a good wireless shot of this cute baby.

No, and they don’t stay that color very long. They will soon lose the red coloring.
