After visiting our friend Mary at Ephrata Manor (a senior nursing facility) I asked Cerwin if we could check on what I call “The Ephrata Eagle Nest”.

Even before getting to the nest we saw one of the residents on a nearby tree. The sun was not in the right position, so my shots are more like a silhouette.

We soon saw that the nest was also occupied.

It appears that they have at least one baby.

I love that eagles are moving into our area.
